Richland offers an ever expanding number of programs of study from which to choose. The links below will take you to pages that provide details about program requirements, areas of concentration suggestions, and credit options available in each area.
Practical Nursing (Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN)
Practical Nursing is a selective admission program, and minimum criteria must be met in order to receive an application. Admission to the program is by application. Admission to Richland Community College does not guarantee acceptance to the program.
Career and Technical Education Option
These are career and technical education programs. Some courses may not transfer to four-year institutions.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
To improve your English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, Richland offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes FREE for all levels.
Students may register for ESL classes at class, attend more than one class, and begin at any point in the semester. For more information, please contact the ESL coordinator or visit the Adult Education Office.

Preparatory Concentrations
The following areas of concentration are offered to assist students planning to transfer to a four-year college and major in the area listed. Theses suggestions are designed for students who have not yet selected a four-year college. In all cases, any student who has chosen the college or university to which he/she intends to transfer should consult that institution's catalog or transfer handbook in planning a program.
